In some ways I can understand.

The negatives:
There are hardly any new reviews coming from moderators or from the big man himself. There is less helpful information available to newbies and the vets seem to be posting less-often.

The positives: I was recruited into a good BF clan here, I had extensive help with my first build. There are fewer flamewars. And lastly this is really the only forum in which I post and goto daily.

However, to the original poster of this thread, if you are going to make a statement like that, back it up with some instances (as I did)

Personally there are pros and cons to every forum out there, but I still think HWA is the best! ;)

ther use to be alot more overclocking and user reviews and posts about bios mods, vga flashing, voltmodding, custom cooling, what cpu steppings were good etc.

for example the other day i seen a 6800 128MB flashed with a quadro bios to increase performance

disscusion along those lines.

I have noticed it to. But there still is some good stuff here and excellent help if needed for general computer woes.

You can send your articles to Sander. Michael's been busy, and I don't know if Vitaliy and Sander would approve of me reviewing the articles. I can talk to them, though, and get back to you guys. :)

The articles that were coming out there for a while were all bashing AMD for one reason or another. I said my piece about it and that stopped.

As for reviews themselves, that stopped soon after I joined the forum for the first time back in 05 because of the constant flamewars on the topics. (eg nVIDIA vs ATI) So that just halted all together. Ive suggested it a few months ago and even said that I would personally test the hardware, but I haven't heard anything.

Most times (at least for what I can see) for the vets not posting is because there is nothing really new to the site and its just the same ol same ol. Basically people just staying what games they are looking forward to, the same Toshiba errors and what not, etc. The same threads get resurrected and its more off topic threads that are posted than actual computer problems.

I agree that this site needs a pick-me-up. I feel its long overdue. At least have an option between the old HWA (its current look) and a new look and be able to choose which "skin" you wanted via a drop down menu in the lower left hand corner of the forum page.

I agree with Mark - old threads being resurrected etc.

How many posts are deicated to games and their demos and their graphics and their release dates and all this low level stuff? About 30 percent plus, and thats HUGE when it comes to the depth of what PC Hardware/Software is.

Well you can all expect more posts form me in the next 12 months - started my computer course, and I'll be here for support and help from you guys...teh l33t3st

I know my thread wasn't a major upper-case "REVIEW" contribution, but it was a 'review' posted after '05.
