Its kinda funny really that the American standard for power consumption in a single home is around 1500watts I think. At this rate, we will be way past that.

X3350 @3.8GHz | Asus P5Q Deluxe P45 | G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2 1000 @951MHz | BFG GTX 285 | OCZ 850w | 2x250GB HDD's | 1x750GB HDD | Antec 1200

Definitely not. Lights alone consume a lot more than that unless you're not using incandescent anymore.

just got my Electric bill.

Using a small electric space heater for 8-16hours a day. 7 days a week and two pc's maybe... 4-30 hours a week, My two occupant 1 bedroom condo used just shy of 500kWh last month.

I would suggest that Mark allen is not too far off on his estimation as most people don't run an electric space heater but use a whole house heater instead (mine is 30 years old and so inefficient it makes netburst look like a tree hugger)

I'm in the neighborhood of 5000 kW/h per month. All electric, 3 occupants, just over 2000 sq. ft. Computers are a tiny drop in a very big bucket.
