I just wrote a long reply to a message in this forum and was told by a submit page that I have "tripped their spam filters". What have I done??!!

Certain words or phrases might trigger the spam filter if they're reminiscent of words often used in marketing. Also, if you are using certain automated posting systems or scripts your messages may be blocked as well to insure that you aren't a bot.

We can't give out specific details about the filters because that would compromise their value, but may I suggest you check your message for any words or phrases that might trip a spam filter's list of "no-nos".

Well that's very annoying. I try to contribute advice to a forum and can't, and as if I have the time to start second-guessing which word, phrase or exclimation mark might have upset a spam filter. It could take hours.

Michael, I've been trying to reply via PM to crash too, and it keeps on tripping, there's something wrong. There was nothing in my reply that could trigger it.

I even tried with very little in the reply and it triggered it.

This is just this morning, so there must be a problem
