Afternoon chaps!

Now that Blu-Ray seems to have won the format war, I am thinking of picking up a PS3. I will be using the console primarily as a Blu-Ray DVD player (I have an Xbox 360 for games).

My question is, how good do Blu-Ray movies really look and will they look decent enough on my 32" high def TV? I run my Xbox 360 on the same TV and it looks jaw-dropping. The 360 even upscales my old DVDs and they look terrific. Will Blu-Ray discs look significantly vetter than this?

Many thanks

J

You will notice a difference compared to dvd's. If the price sounds good and your willing to take the plunge then no problems (expensive blu-ray vs dvd). A bigger screen would be ideal but it will still look great! Also sound quality is the other major gain you get when going to blu-ray so if you don't already have a surround system then there is something else to work on. :)

Do you know anyone with a blu-ray player that you could hook up to your tv? At least then you will know the real difference and make your decision based on real results.
