I have an Core2 duo 6600 PC and already run two monitors on a dual graphics card with no problems.

I am using my PC strictly for Cubase recordings, i.e. no games or anything too hard core.

I would like to be able to use four displays, have read that the Matrol 450 4x card might achieve this for me. My big question is will it work with my setup and will the performance of my PC suffer in any way by running 4 displays off one PC?

Thanks
Al

if you have a second pci-e slot you could use a second gfx card. i recommand it to be
the same model or at least in the same category. they don't have to be the same brand
but have to be able to use the same driver. it is very difficult to install to different drivers
for two different cards and in most cases does not work well.

another option would be to get a nvidia quadro or ati firegl. either are made exacptly for this
purpose. neither will play nicely with your current card if they are not at least use a similar
driver, which is unlikely. you will be able to drive 4 displays with one card. it won't tax your
system to hard

You can either be part of the problem or be part of the solution.
