My computer hates hot days.
I've been looking all over the net but nothing comes my way of a true answer, so i'll come to Hardware analysis again :)

Let's see.
I have one 80mm side fan intake
and one 80mm outtake at the back.

what else do I need?
I can apply a front intake if needed, another 80mm outtake at the back
and i'm planning on cutting out the top of the case so i can fit another 80mm exhaust in, and planning on cutting the side fan hole bigger so i can fit a 120mm instead of the 80mm

will this help my cooling?
is there any differen't ways i should place my fans?
x.x gah i hate the heat

That would improve your overall temperatures, you should put the biggest fan you can on the front of the case and on the top at least a 120mm fan. If you don't want to cut that much then buy an Antec 900, the best airflow case available IMO.

I can only fit a 80mm at the front
but I can put another 80mm like, sitting behind it under my driver bays.
I can't fit a 120mm on the top because there is a handle

Edit:- I have removed the handle off the top of my case so now I CAN fit a 120mm on the top.
I hope this helps :(

How long do you have your case? Dust can be a mayor problem, especialy on the CPU heasink. I'v used a Zalman on my CPU with excellent result when new. After even a year usage dust have reduced it's efficienty so that the temp increased by about 10Centegrade. After managing to clean it with a brush, the temp went down a few degrees. I fell I'll have to remove it and wash it (removing the fan before) reinstalling it,not a 15 min job.
Now I am tyting something else.
I have 2 12cmm fans in tandem or you could use a 12voilt 1amp fan, have it intake the air, bought an air filter for a small car ($1), mounted it outside the case so that the air passes throu it to the intake fan. Now I have filtered air into the enclosure. 3 hours work if you have the time. Time well spent. (I hope) Picture can be provided.

Just be careful into what you plug the fans. Many mobo fan connections are rated well under 1Amp, and even some cheap potentiometer-based fan-speed controllers won't handle 1Amp.

If you're going to be connecting multiple fans of any significant power, you'll need to either plug them directly into a PSU power connector or use a PWM fan speed controller with higher current ratings.

For more details, see my post on your earlier thread at:

I do Have them connected direct to the P/S connector. The total rating for both fans is .55 amp. With the "car air filter" installed, I have a positive clean air inflow to the case. Will see how much dust we collect inside tha case in the next few month. P.S. does anyone have any experience of the zalman cp heatsink/fan flake-ing what appers to be copper oxide.
Zalman has now a nicel plated copper 9700.????????
Happy computing.......
