Hello,

Since the age of HD has become available and not all LCD/HD tv's have a HDMI I was wondering which of the following outputs would be better for:

Gaming (eg. XBOX 360)
DVD Player
Other Peripherals (eg. Digital Box)

Many thanks in advance.

Listed from best to worst:

HDMI
Component
S-Video
Composite (RCA)
Coax-cable

I've never seen a SCART connection, so I can't comment. Isn't SCART PAL only?

I'm using component to connect my 360 to a 37" Sharp lcd and can say that the picture quality is excellent.

I researched what component is, it's basically RGB.

As for scart it simply S-Video.

Thanks for the help and the great list :)
