Hello, i'm building new PC and i need some advice.

This is the configuration i have in mind:

case - ANTEC NINE HUNDRED
PSU - COOLER MASTER M700 Real Power 700W
MB - ASUS P5E
CPU - Intel core2duo E8400 3GHz
RAM - Geil 4GB(2x2) 800MHz Black Dragon DDR2
Graphics Card - XFX GeForce 8800GTS 512MB(G 92)
HD - Western Digital Caviar 500GB 16MB SATAII
and i have my old HD Maxtor ATA 160GB

I'm not planning to overclock CPU so i will use the stock cooler.

What do you think about this configuration, i'm open for all suggestions...

First off, I'd ditch the Stock HS cooler, and invest in a good quality HSF.
Stock coolers - IMHO- are crap. You got a nice build there, so get a good HSF too!
Regardless of stock or OC :)

Well you have a fine build there and don't worry about the cooler. If you're not going to overclock then it will be fine with stock cooler, that Antec 900 should keep some nice airflow going.

HERE IS MY GOOD DEED FOR THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do yourself a favor and stay away from the P5E.I have one and its a POS imho.Im thinking about going back to my P5K-E..If your getting it because of the PCI-E 2.0 dont worry about that.I saw no differnce in games or benchmarks between my P5E and my P5K-E except that the P5K-E is much easier to work with and its more stable to OC and has almost no Vdrop unlike the P5E
Consider a P35 board.I cant say enough about the P5K-E and its only $139.00.But if you want a X38 .Take a look at Gigabytes DS4 X38 or DFI's LANPARTY DK X38-T2R

Just noticed your not gonna OC.Then youll be fine with a P5E.

Thanks for your answers, my english is not so good so it take me some time to find what "POS imho" means. About P5E, is this board bad just for OC and how big is the problem with Vdrop. I wanted to buy this MB becouse of new X38 chipset, support new 45nm CPUs,
have PCI-E 2.0 and SLI but i'm getting some strange opinions, people either love or hate this board....i don't know if the problems related to this board are in BIOS or is the MB itself to blame.

With tax time here i've been building many custom build computers and the main thing I can suggest to you is whatever motherboard you decide to go with, visit their website and verify the Ram you are getting works well. Not to mention, visit their forums and see what people are saying about the motherboard.

PoS = Piece of Sh*t
imho = in my honest opinion
