everytime i insert my flashdrive or anyone elses into my laptop..it always ends up automatically making a folder with my files in them..how do we fix this problem i really need to no

If all that is happening is that the computer opens up an explorer window and displays the contents of the flash drive, that can be considered normal. It may not actually be copying data from your flash drive to the computer hard drive. You need to look at the drive volume letter being displayed to make certain which is happening.

As an interim solution, you might try holding down the 'shift' key as you insert the flash drive. This should stop most auto-loaders from doing anything when you plug-in a drive.

Since you need the "fix" to apply to any computer you plug it into, the standard registry hack won't work as it has to be applied to every machine.

If it is indeed actually copying a folder and its contents to the hard-drive, then the underlying cause of the issue is most likely that something on the flash drive is executing when you plug it in. You may be able to either delete, rename, or modify that executable. However, I can't guarantee what that might do to any other functionality designed into the drive (e.g. encryption, etc) You'll need to examine the details and then make a decision or ask more questions.

Most flash drives also have a proprietary software program that regulates which actions occur when the drive is inserted. Snooping around your drive's software should yield the settings that you need to alter.
