Ok guys, getting ready to upgrade my ram. Now of these, which one would be the best to overclock with. My current overclock with my 2x512 ocz value ram is @237mhz. Ive tried the 2x1gb performance series, but those wouldn't reach 237mhz, so i sent them back.

Now these are my choices.

Out of those which ones would be my best choice in overclocking.

Thanks a lot in advance

They are all seem relatively even. Remember that lower timings do not always result in better overclocks. You are looking for memory with a good balance between tight timings and a high bus speed.

I do not thing you would be disappointed with any of those three kits.

wow i just bought the ocz platinum el 2x1gb pc3200 for $100 at my local computer store, and this stuff is amazing. I got it running at 244mhz @2.75v, no divider, timings are 2.5-3-2-5(are those pertty good timings?) cpu@2.7 and temps are cpu-24c mobo-19c.

Pretty sweet. I thought it wouldnt go that high. This was definitely a good choice. A whole lot better then the 2x1gb ocz performance series. Couldnt get those to do anything!

Im soooo exited.

Which program should i run to see if the system is stable? Prime, memtest?

well just played need for speed pro street, and it froze. I had to set it down to 240mhz. Still not too shabby. so now its @2.64Ghz and ram at2.7v. I did those setting and it worked like a charm.

You should have set the timinings to 2.5-3-3-7 or 2.5-4-4-8.Then im sure you could have kept the extra fsb.OCZ memory rocks.I use to run my OCZ's at 2.5-4-3-7-T1 and i was pulling 9000mb in Everest ultimate memory read benchmarks and 40ns in Latency all at 300x9x3 at 1:1

with 2.5-4-4-8 you might get 260 fsb and 3-4-4-8 you might get 270fsb which will more than make up for the loose timings believe me

Those are low timing but as Mothow mentioned, increasing your timing would allow you to push you fsb further.

I got mine to 240Mhz stable without any changes in voltage or timings. :/

I use both Prime95 and memtest as the first initial tests. Then I play games or run 3Dmark07 for a few hours.
