I've been trying to build my new rig since November of last year, and have been plagued with problems. The current issue is that after CPU, video card, ram, and psu are plugged in, i cant get it to turn on! The mobo light turns on, but no fans spin. I've asked for a replacement mobo thinking it was the problem, but nothing. I even had my friend who know more about computers try to get it to run.. nothing. I switched out the PSU thinking its faulty. Nothing. Switched out my rig case still nothing. He thinks the unit is underpowered. I dont know anymore, but i dont want to pay some guy $100 to tell me to replace everything. Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz 4MB Cache, 1333FSB, 775pin
Asus P5K
Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 800MH
Antec EarthWatts EA500 500 Watt ATX12V v2.0 Power Supply
NVidia 8600gts
Western Digital 36gb raptor SATA
1x dvd-r

Please give me some suggestions before i pull what little hair i have left! I dont mind spending the money to find the right item and long as it works.

thanks
ariel
