Good for you man. Hope that new board overclocks your Quad even further. didn't know there was a 750i board, Is the only difference that it has only 2 Pci-Express x 16 slot? If so then it's one hell of a board and a with a good price tag.

Lol... don't you think that you're too much (well...kinda) addicted to this? ;)

You seriously buy a new motherboard every month. What motherboard is it gonna be next month, P45? By the way, I thought it was funny you named the thread "EVGA 750i FTW" and that the name of the board actually has "FTW" in it. I thought you where just pointing out that you tought it was a good board, but that's actually what it's called. Silly eVGA marketing.

One game a day, keeps the shrink away. One mobo a month, keeps Mr. Mothow in fun. ;) It rhymes!

Ok i got and installed this board tonight. And man its sweet. It blows away the P5E in memory bench marks.I get my other 8800GTS 512mb tomorrow. And over the week end im gonna tighten up the inside of my rig and install raid.Running a single HD atm The board just seem more responsive than my P5E.Only thing im not happy with is my cpu temps which is a cpu issue not the boards. With IC7 and my Ultra 120 Xtreme and 103cfm panflow im idling at 43c wtf?It was the same on my P5E.I here the E8400's have a tempature bug.But if this is true im gonna get rid of this thing as soon as the nehlam comes out

Seriously, Mothow, it might be a good idea to pull back on the silicon. Technology is a money firepit.

Same here, I buy a new motherboard when I build a new computer. This usually involves switching to a new socket type and/or a new CPU that is un-supported by my last motherboard. Buying a new motherboard and keeping the same CPU seems sort of a waste of money unless your old motherboard had serious problems.
