Yay! I've purchased my first ever car , its not a new one, its second hand, but for me it's new, its of Silver color. It is Wagon R from Maruti Suzuki.

I purchased this for Rs. 2,80,000/- ($ 7000), new one cost around $10000.

Congrad on your first car! When I got my first car, it was both exciting and concerning, since I just learned driving at that time and needed to drive down highway to college. But once you get the hang of it, driving is really fun, if not in traffic that is.

Hey, after you get used to it for say year or 2, you should mod your car! Get yourself wider tires, with up sized alloy wheels. Put a spoiler wing on the back (top), to add bit more down force. Cut your suspension lower for few inches. Put some body kits to reduce the drag, make it more areodynamic. Upgrade your engine with super charger, tubo charge the sucker to the max. Perhaps a Nitro system, too.

I drove the car yesterday for the first time too, my brother was sitting beside me, he know how to drive the car, he was instructing me pretty well, so he'll be my instructor for next 10-15 days. It was pretty scary experience, but I'm willing to go for next drive, tomorrow morning.

Sean, that Scion xB looks great . Kieran, one liter petrol cost around Rs. 46.xx/- that's little over US$ 1. I think, 1 Gallon = 3.7854 liters.

wow fuel is cheap eveywhere apart from uk - we pay £1.05 a litre - there are 4.54 litres in uk gallon . i think there are approx 2 dollars to the £ , so we pay approx $ 2.10 per litre, x by 4.54 = $2.10x4.54 = $9.54 per uk gallon
