Pirates' Gore Verbinski to Direct BioShock Movie!

Yes! Another amzing game being transformed into a movie. Nice
Bioshock's a good game to base a movie on. The atmosphere of Bioshock
was quite dark, and eerie, and surreal. Good stuff that! Here's hoping Verbinski
can direct an amazing movie from an amazing game! ! !

So soon? I mean, Metal Gear is in it's 5th or 6th installment and they are still trying to make a movie of it. Most movie adaptations from a game don't happen until there has been at least three games released (Doom, Silent Hill, Tomb Raider, etc).

There's so many films out there that are already like Metal Gear. Tomb Raider, hmm so
many films like that too not to mention Indiana Jones, he was the original TR!
Bio's a lot different in every aspect. And it'll be an interesting film to make. Looking
forward to this. I loved the TR films tho. Nice cheese! haha

Woot! I always said to my friends that the plot and the twist could make a great movie. Good thing Gore is directing it, it means easily a 100 million dollar budget or more. All that for the nice Big Daddies. I mean think about it, if people could replicate Pyramid Head exactly as creepy as it is in silent Hill then what's to stop them from making a Big Daddy? Ok, maybe that super tackle he does when you attack him but as long as it's not one big hunk of CGI I'll be happy with it.

Btw... Pyramid Head wasn't CGi and almost every monster from Silent hill were humans in costumes so I hope they do it right.
