Hello guys, I have installed a GA-P35T-DQ6 motherboard but I can get it to start.I have checked all cables and to me everything is okay. When I press power, fans and everything works, but in less that one minute, it is powered off and it tries to restart itself again. It cant even get to POST. Could it be power problem. I have a 550w power installed.

Thankx you guys

Does it post the first time and then shut down? Sounds like overheating to me.

No it doesn't post at all. You you press power, system fans and all fans spin for less than one minute and then stop. and then they try to spin again and then stop and then continue like that. It is like the system is trying to power itself but can't. And I think 550w is enough to power every motherboard.

I was once using the case for a 486 motherboard and it worked fine without problem. I have installed power adapter for the 20pin to 24pin board power and 4pin to 8pin power for the motherboard.

I had thought the problem is power but I have tried with a new psu, but the same problem.
