Alt+F4 only closes the current program, not all of 'em. :P

One that I use a lot is Ctrl+Shift+Esc: Task Manager

Windows + M = Minimize Windows that are open

Also, don't forget you can add a shortcut key combination to any shortcut within your computer by right clicking and selecting Properties

Here's a fun keyboard shortcut to mess with your Mac using buddies ;)

Command + Option + Control + 8 - Inverts all the colors on the screen

I did this to my friend's MacBook Pro, and I scared the crap out of him. It was hilarious. :D

I use Keyconfig with Firefox to set custom key-commands for almost everything ... then when I go use some public computer with a default Firefox profile I can't get anything done. :~

As I remember that style IBM keyboard, you could use it as a club. It was incredibly heavy and solid as a rock.

I've been challenged to a type-off by a proponent of those keyboards before, whooped his ass with my old cheapass Logitech board. :P

I will give it that. It was sturdy as hell. Those things last forever. :~

What the hell's a type-off, and why would I bother? I'd just smash your Logitech with my Model M hammer of omgwtfbbq doom, and declare myself the winner. :P

Hahaha!

I guess the good news for me is that I'd hear you coming from about three miles away! ;) *CLICK CLICK CLICK*

Oh, he said "my keyboard is better than yours because I can type faster on it than you can on yours." I called him on it and we did a typing test. :P I won. Then I ran out of the room while he chased me with the M. :~ :X

I had one of those IBM keyboards on my first computer I ever had. It seems that everyone has owned one of those at one point or another. It was pretty much the "standard" PC keyboard for many years.

Some interesting facts regarding key shortcuts.

Anyone ever use SGI, restart key strokes are Ctrl + Shift + / + F12, the Ctrl and shift must be ones on left, and / must be from keypad. Will stretch your fingers to the max! ;)

Anyone remember Wordperfect 5.1? It was the first word processor I learned, and the key commands are everything to control this program (no mouse). Layers of key combinations, it's insane! Here, http://www.mdx.ac.uk/WWW/STUDY/wp51.htm

Here's all of it for Windows.
Common ones, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/126449
XP specific, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/301583
Vista specific, http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/2503b91d-d...61033.mspx
