Hey It's Independence day! Happy Independence day everyone.

i'm watching John Adams on dvd as we speak. :_)

I was on Baltimore the 4th of july once and I still think that Americans are fireworks aficionados. That had to be the craziest display of fireworks I've ever seen in my life. Very very colorful and every store I went there were fireworks every where. I was amazed of how easily you could get them without any legal troubles. I was so late to buy firwoeks that the only thing I managed to get were color sparkles lol. It was my first time using them though and they were itchy and great. 8)

Got rained out last night with heavy duty thunder storms with lots of rain and lightning.... mother nature type of fireworks...... my own personal fireworks got canceled.... BUT...... still daylight here... it just stopped thunderstorming.... the ground is wet but the rain has stopped.... hopefully it will stay that when when darkness arrives..... and if that happens...... fireworks.... here I come.... gotta light up the culdesac tonight... LOL

While my neighbors were setting off hundreds of $$$ worth of mortars and barrages, my kids were throwing around a couple of hundred "snap and pops". They enjoyed the booms and the bangs, and I educated them on the speed of sound, so they could tell how far off the display was.
