Hello everyone.

Recently I had a huge virus problem and formatted everything, including XP x86.
My computer guy installed a copy of x86 on my first HD (SATA), but i'm finding it rather unstable and heavy. So I decided to install a copy of a XP x64 Pro Corp I had here, in my second HD (IDE - just to mention, it is set to slave and a DVD drive to master due to cable extension problem :| )

NOW THE PROBLEM:
After solving an instalation problem (instalation freezing on "setup is starting windows", which solution for I've found in this forum), everything went fine, except I can't select between the OSs. The machine boots directly into the x86, no option given. Inside the x86 I can see the files of the x64 instalation correctly installed into the second HD.

I've googled a lot but simply cannot find any solutions. One particular post in a forum had two people arguing about the possibility of having these similar systems and double boot, and in the end the asker could do it, but he didn't mention having the problem I am having.

Please guy, I've been burning braincells over this for the past three days... Would really appreciate any help.

System specs:
ASUS P5VD1-X mobo
Intel Pentium D 2.8
nVidia geForce 8500GT fatal1ty (512mb)
1,5gb RAM ddr400 (3x512mb)
M-Audio Delta 1010LT professional sound card

hope i'm not missing anything

Thanks already :):)
