I was starting to notice green text on certain websites within the first few weeks. At first I was thinking there must be something wrong with my monitor or color settings or something, but then I realized that did not make much sense. So I fired up good old Internet Explorer 7 (64-bit) and noticed that when compared side by side it was obvious that Firefox 3 was doing something wrong (either that or these websites are not using standard HTML code or something).

Here's some screenshots. One is from the BBC News website, and another from the videogame blog Joystiq. Not all text shows up green in Firefox 3, but certain text does on certain sites. It's rare, but still annoying when I come across it. Anyone have this issue?

McFly said he did too. Seems to be pretty rare though, as it only happens on a couple of sites. It must be the way its coded or something.

Tested it out with Opera and it did not have the green text. So it seems to be just Firefox 3 at this point as it did not happen in Opera 9 or IE7.

Safari doesn't do it either. Silly Firefox.

Edit - Here's the link so anyone else can try it, and save yourself some typing.

Scroll down a little bit to the comments in Firefox, and see if you see green text.

It's the same way for all the comments on any Joystiq article.
