I'm not running any clients now. If I do run anything, it would probably be just on the server. I need some time to chill first...

Let's get the old team back together! Most of you guys have got quad-cores just sitting there while you browse for porn, so install Folding@Home and let's help make HWA #1!

he left the hwa team and mostly folding altogether when FAH changed their point value system for WU, which left cpu folding in the dust compared to gpu folding

If I had some moneys, I'd build a barebones machine and just stuff it in the closet for folding. :_)

I have started F@H again. This time under the HWA team. I am running the GPU version since I never use the thing anyway.

Ya know, I am the only one on the HWA team doing anything. JayJ did a unit within the past 50 days but hasn't done one in a few weeks. So unless my single GPU running at 75% capacity can beat you arbitrary arsenal of computing, this won't be very interesting.

EDIT:
Incidentally, I flew up the HWA rankings at mach speed. I went from 76th to 19th after just 28 WU's.

hi hi .. i know nathan. i have been keeping a close eye on you guys .. well you

i was hoping to spark the interest of some more members to start folding or return to it.

who knows, maybe interest someone to join me

i even thought of making it a little competition if i would see some people participating.
i have a bunch of old GPU's laying around that i could throw in as a price.

well, maybe sovietdoc will join now since the "GPU3" client has been released TODAY :O

get IT and the info here
