Hi hoping someone can give me some direction on my Gateway Profile 5 all in one system.

The system when powered up will only kick on fans, hard drive, and cd-rom. I do not see any splash gateway screen only for like 3 seconds the monitor flashes "Power Save Mode" and the screen goes black.

The system is completely tore down and have narrowed it down to LCD, the Inverter, or the video card.

Today I tried to install a external monitor and got the same response, So I am wondering if its the video card? How can I tell what the problem is?? I even unplugged the internal LCD to see if it would recognize the external monitor and nothing but a intermitant beep. Not sure if I need to unplug something else beside the LCD cable??

Any help would be appreciated before I waste any more on this system.
