Got a problem on our Windows 2000 SP4 server on one printer in particular.

The following error message is: There was an error found when printing <dokument name> to the following IP adress: xx.xx.xx.xx
I've tried restarting the spooler but this does not solve the matter.
There are 8 other printers connected via this server that work properly.

Any suggestions or ideas will be appreciated

Regards,

Christian

Edit: The printer Lexmark T620 has had its motherboard replaced.

Obviously communication issue. You sure you have the right IP for the printer?

Yes, the IP address is correct. I forgot to mention that the printer answers on ping.

Did it used to work, or is it recently added and never worked before?

Try find the latest drivers for it if you don't already have them, and check there are no IRQ conflicts
