is there any way that i could mod/change the windows logon/blue background screen so that it isnt blue... somebody has to know how to do so?

You didn't say what version, and the steps needed differ between them all.
Sometimes it is as simple as copying a bitmap to a certain name.bmp, in other cases it is a bit more complex.
I'd recommend you visit a little known site called http://www.microsoft.com/windows and type "logon background" in the search field.
There is a little known function that permits you to limit the searches to the specific OS, or product, usually refered to as "advanced search", but you may have to spend at least 3 minutes to find it.

i believe i did what i wanted lol all i needed to do is mess with regedit and control panels**t but its all good now i believe...
