It's like that pretty much every morning (1am to 5am CST). In general, member traffic on this site has gone way down from a few years ago.

That about sums it up Ford. :) I've been playing San Andreas a lot, so I figured I'd switch it up and play Vice City for awhile.

In Vice City, you can't mouselook while driving. That kinda sucks. :( But I got re-used to it after about an hour. When I beat Vice City and tire of it again, I'll re-play GTA III. :)

I've been thinking about playing VC again too. SA is good until after reaching San Fierro. Every time I played it, the game just seems to drag from that point on. I thought GTA3 was good when it came out but it just seems like it is missing something so it really doesn't have much replay value. VC is definitely my fav so far. I think a lot of it has to do with how much of a leap VC was from GTA3 compared to SA and VC. SA really only added three things: 1) harrier, 2) swimming, 3) size. They don't even come close to what VC had over GTA3 (weapon classes, hardware stores, purchase houses, purchase businesses, motorcycles, mopeds, great radio stations, flyable helicopters/planes, main charater far from being mute, etc.).

I'd pay for VC again if someone at Rockstar would backport the mouselook while driving. Seriously. VC rules anyway, but man...mouselook! I wants it!

One thing that I forgot about Vice City that SA doesn't have that I really like is the taxi that appears when you die on a mission ... that's nice.

Doesn't SA have something similar where you press a button (right arrow maybe? Or was that on the PS2 version?) to skip some driving? I think it only works when you have a multipart mission, and you've completed one or more of the parts though...hmm..might be time to go fail some missions for research purposes :)

I think the feature was implemented quite sparadically throughout both games. I recall seeing it in GTA SA on the last series of missions. I also recall seeing it in GTA VC on the printing press missions. It might be in there far more frequently but, I rarely die. XD
