Hello, So i just Built my gaming system, and im getting issues right off the start. So when i start up Windows XP x64, Everything runs ok for a while, but every now and then my screen freezes, but only for 3secs then normal then freezes again, and the only way to resolve it is restarting the whole system. I had this issue with a 32bit version of windows as well. I can still play my games as well. I also got the BLUE screen of death TWICE. But overall the system runs normal. And all my drivers are updated, Here are my specs...
INTEL DG35EC mainboard
INTEL E8400 duo core 3ghz
Nvidia 9800 GTX 512mb
8GIG DDR2 RAM
ATA 400 gig HD

You cant post something like that and then not offer a soulution either.....LMAO!!!! You are crazy man you totally LOCO.
If it was me I would do the easiest thing 1st, try the Ram in 2gig combos, or what ever way you can. Even re sit them in the board. Is this rig overclocked at all and what temps you running. Maybe the HSF is not sitting correctly. Make sure you turn of any temp management in the bios aswell, and see if that runs okay.
Driver and bios updates is a must too. Especially on a Mobo thats been sitting in storage for months...
If that fails check the PSu....but do the easy things first before getting down to the hard stuff. But I dont think its anything major.
