Microsoft should have cut support of Windows XP long ago. It's "professional suicide" to support a now 8 year old operating system whilst releasing one and possibly two new versions in its life span.

That being said, with windows 7 coming out and dx11 coming to both windows 7 and vista, it seems pretty clear that microsoft IS trying to right some of their wrongs, but it's not going to be through xp.
