I received this mouse (SilverCrest from Lidl, Model no. NM1005-M) as a gift some time ago, but in the last month or so it fell on the ground two or more times. Today it fell again, and now it doesn't work anymore. You can feel that something is not attached in there.
I don't have much hope that it will work again, but I'm curious to open and look what's actually wrong with it and possibly repair it. After all, it was a good mouse.
So, therefore, does anyone know how to open a mouse?!
It doesn't have any visible ways of opening it. No screws or smth.

I found the screws under the pads as you said and opened the mouse. Everything seemed all right, nothing broken, but the metals at the each side of battery were apparently too far. I bend them a little closer and now everything works fine again.
Thank you very much!
How to open a mouse?
For biological ones, you need to consult a veterinary surgeon.
For electrical ones, you can crack it open like a clam. See video for instructions (you can skip to 0.43min). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KroCogRJObQ
