Bought two 1GB memorex Roto drive 401B, formatted one of them ok to full capacity but the 2nd one for some reason only shows 1MB. Any ideas what caused that and how to fix it?
Thx
G

Can you reformat it? Try deleting the partition and recreating it in Disk Management:

Right click My Computer > Manage > Disk Management

Hi, I have formatted many times and also in Computer Management. But still same results. It's not at its fullest capacity which is 1GB. I do not get the option to delete and recreate partition.

Installed and ran Killdisk but it still did not get the job done. Although I was able to see 1GB of free space and 1MB of partition. I guess I will just give up and call Memorex and RMA it.
I also tried partition magic and it doesn't even recognize the drive.
Thanks
G

price was so low that I couldn't refuse the offer...you are right, memory is pretty cheap these days. I have 8, 4 and 2GB drives.
