Hey all,
i have the Dell SP2208WFP and the issue i'm having is when i first turn on the picture is fine, but after a couple seconds it goes dark. I can still see the image with a flashlight. Not sure if its a backlight issue or inverter. And i have no idea where to find parts for this monitor..anyone provide some help? much appreciated

Dude call Dell they will have you a new one in two days and then you ship back the old one in the box the sent with the new LCD.And its free.Well as long as its an Ultra Sharp model.But still call them they will replace as long as its under warranty.I wouldnt bother taking it apart

I've had the same problem with my monitor and, no dude, I don't think it's under waranty (bought it Jan '08). Any ideas what's causing the problem?
