Both of my XSPC Pumps are realy quiet. I have to put my ear to them to hear them.
I also have some matting underneath to absorb vibrations too.

So have you looked at how much all this cooling system gonna run you????? Go ahead and price it up?

Radiator or r's
Pump or p's (traditional or submerged/tank combo)
tank
cpu block
gpu block or k's
chipset block
Hoses
barbs
clamps

curious as to the cost of the type of setup you are looking at.

a frakking lot! between 450-700, depending on how many loops, pumps, etc. For the cost of two loops, i could prob rebuild to i7 tripl chanl ddr3 system, so idk, i'll have to do one loop now, and one later prob, although it would be nice to do it all at once, while everything is apart. so the question now also becomes, would i rather upgrade system, or get water cooling, i did the same thing last time and ended up upgrading, it was more Crucial then though. my system now is good for my purposes, especially if i could get more out of the oc with it on water.

______
416.59

and that's with the swiftech rad, if i went with the dual x-treme feser, it would be ~468.64.
that's just for the cpu/chip loop. since i still have one gpu still, it seems maybe i should just cool that too, that card is treating me pretty well so far (except 4 crysis, but it's still ok), so, that would add 90 to it, bringing to somewhere around 507/552. i've pretty much just got the basics, and my pump top, res is combined, so that saved some money, the stuff is just expensive to do. one thing is though, it would seem anyway, except for changing out an occasional block, that the water cooling system would last through generations of builds, it's just a really big chunk to put out up front. i should prob take my time with it, and look for sales and so forth, the above list is from 3 different stores.

thanks,
df
