Im looking to buy a 5.1 speaker that will last me for a long time, atleast 2 years and it should sound great in both games and music. What do you guys recommend? I was contemplating on buying a Logitech z5500 but i heard it has a problem with its control pod and fuse.

Thanks in advance,

I'm pretty sure the Logitech Z-5500's are still considered one of the best PC-specific speaker kits. Some people prefer the Klipsch ProMedias but those seem to have disappeared from the market.

On a side note, this thread and some quick Google searching has made me realize just how uncompetitive the current highend PC speaker market is.
