As far as your hard drive goes I havee 3x seagates 500gb each 32mb of cache 7200.11's in raid0.Id say your HD did pretty well against mine.Mine let me down

What!? You're letting an OS base score determine that!? Heck Mothow if all you do is gaming then I'm sure you already knew that it wasn't worth it lol. It's the same s**t with dual cores and quad cores. If you're encoding and stuff then quad for you but if not I don't think there's much performance to gain of of it.

The only thing Quads have going for them is that more and more games are actually coding for quads now....albeit i7 or Q9xxx. Take the new Arma 2 game I got, optimised for Quad core.

Pass on the i7 I will and get the next generation....havin said that if I got one for the right price I would change.

i7 920 is under $200 over here now in a lot of stores like Fry's and the Microcenter

My CPU and memory were over 7, but my hard drive was the lowest at 5.9. I'm not running Windows 7 at the moment, but next time I boot into it I'll check out the exact scores and get a screenshot.

I would never decide to buy another part based on a fluke test such as this one.

i'm a little ticked at the RC 7127 edition punkbuster is still finding ways to p**s me off when playing Call of Duty 4. I'm currently playing on non punk buster servers problem u can run into hackers

Somba why do you still insist on playing games on Win7 Version that's not
even a retail release. At this stage, companies such as punk buster are not even
remotely interested in working with Win7 until release of this OS.
