I think there's something wrong with 250GB Western Digital drive. It seems to take a long time to load things that used to load much faster and I score 5.3 on the Vista test because of the harddrive scoring 5.3. It also has crashed for no apparent reason twice in the last 3 months. I

I am looking into a new harddrive, probably 500GB or so. I want something that performs well, what do you guys suggest I do?

Yep, That drive is the business. IMHO it is faster then my 75GB Raptors which I now use for very fast PORN.

SSD drives are the future big time and are already dropping in price. But not a VIABLE option today. Well worth the money the Samsung drives......try to get the 10,000 RPM drive...*wink coz they are even faster.

I run 2 SSD's in raid0 now and its fast but i want the OCZ drives

How much 4Q.....SSD drives are very exspensive.
