Hey guys, I was working with Microsoft as a Senior Technical Support Officer II (Research Team for XP/Vista) and had to resign due to stupid politics being played around these days with the term "recession" slapped with it, I've now joined *Quatrro BPO Solutions. Financially it'll be same for me, plus its a company who brought BPO to India i.e., Mr. Raman Roy.

The name Quatrro is derived from the Spanish word "cuatro" (albeit misspelled), meaning "four" and signifies the fourth BPO venture by Raman Roy.

So guys, I need your best wishes, hence needed your attention. Thanks for reading this post and eating un-necessary bandwidth :o)

Nice to hear from you Supreet. I wish you good luck with your new job also. I'm curious though what will your new job be like. Same role as before?

Well done! Fair play to you for taking the initiative and making a move rather than just sitting around and whining about things like I've seen so many others do over the years.

I wish you all the best and hope you find what you're looking for.

good to hear that you got right under a new roof. not everybody here can say that.
i am glad and it sounds like you are now more in a position you can enjoy.
leaving microsoft is big but then, just like superstars are only humans, major enterprises like microsoft are only companies.

i hope you enjoy

You can either be part of the problem or be part of the solution.

Supreet, congrad for the new job!

Sometimes big companies are sh*ts! You got more chance for recognition and to learn more in smaller ones.

Good luck, dude!

Was that the reason why you were called "Senior Technical Support Officer"? XD ;) j/k.

Are you sure your NDA's expired? Some company make you sign NDA when you're hired and/or before you leave to guarantee you can't legally disclose information regarding their business operation.

Companies are here to do business. Sadly business is not synonymous with humanity. If they need to reduce your pay, or simply remove you from the work force, they can do so legally and abruptly, with no discussion. That's how cruel business can be, especially around this economical hard time. And that's the reality I must face right now.

I have to agree with you that they shouldn't set the support requirement so high and unrealistic, since it will give customers more excuse to complain.

Again, good luck with the new job man.
