Why stay clear of the copper i have it and it kills the Black and Regular TRUE.The weight wont hurt your mobo if you dont move your PC alot.Plus a piece of wire that no one can see will solve this problem anyway. And the Black performs the same as the regular one only its black. While i will agree the Copper cost way to much. Its still a great Cooler and if you have a benching station then the Copper TRUE cant be beat. The extra weight really helps on benching stations.

I only paid $45 shipped for mine so i couldnt resist. And it beats my regular TRUE by 5 to 6c on average. Now i need to test my Prolimatech Megahalems
. And the New Ultra Kazes 3000's i have just waiting for a nice push pull setup on these three Heatsinks.Oh and my 88CFM 120x25mm Yateloons are dieing to cool something to..Running dual 77cfm Yateloons atm

this maybe be the real king

TBH Mothow,

I should have researched it more mate. maybe I was a bit over the top saying stay well clear, I am not saying its a bad HSF but for the price and that you really should get one of the others. But I read two reviews (From very good sites I am looking for the links now ;) ) on the copper one and both stated its not as effective as the others and its due to it being "COPPER".

As for the Black edition, it performs better is cheaper and it will not tarnish over time. I would love to see that shiny copper HSF in a years time in a clocked rig!!! Even my TuniQ is gone all discoloured and looks bad but yes its very effective. Most of the reviews I have read sum it up alot like this.....

"Well then, when it comes down to it, this TRUE is a bit of a paradox. It's a very heavy beast that performs to... some degree of fantastic, though to be honest, it really could be better"

I think there is a big review in this months CUSTOM PC on the copper one...I am gonna double check it.

Yep, Latest Custom PC mag has a review of the True Copper....very bad review. Twice the price, twice the weight for less performance.....

Looks like it would sure be better than those crappy wire clips. I'm still staying steady at 28C @ 4GHZ with that Sunon 98CFM fan pulling on my ultra 120extreme
