Anyone who has a G11 or G15 Keyboard can you please assist.
I spilled a Mojito over it last night and the D key is stiff. I've unscrewed
the main part, but it's like it's well sealed.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Tam...

Lmao...what do you need the "D" key for.....??? Except you will be runing around in circles playing FPS's.....

I dont know Tam....I will look at my G15 when I get home....but I would start with some cotton buds, flatten them so they are flat. Then dip them in Surgical Spirits and wipe away like mad....always works wonders for me cleaning s**t.

I will check out my keys laterz....

mmm... mojitos...

dunno about a G11 but my keys just pop right off with a bit of pressure from a flat screwdriver or similar. About once a year I take them all off, wash off the tray with rubbing alcohol, and clean each key with it too, takes about 3 hours but it's like having a new keyboard when i'm done.

Lol!

Ok, before reading these replies, I just went ahead and just plucked the keys out, cleaned
the keyboard base underneath, and also cleaned all the keys individually.
One problem has cropped up tho... the ENTER key. There's a U shaped wire underneath
that most likely acts as some sort of spring/tension so the ENTER key sits evenly,
I'm not sure how to go about putting the enter key on it. Can Plug/Reason or anyone else
assist with this???

I'm also about google this

Cheers, Tam...

It's ok. I got it sussed.

For the ENTER, BACKSPACE & SPACE BAR keys, there's a sort of spring clip that
needs to be fixed into the 2 grooves underneath those keys. Then the clip needs to clip
wee grooves on the keyboard base to make it spring. How cheap for an expensive keyboard!

So if you have these keyboards, be sure to make sure and clip else you get loose keys!

Speaking of cleaning out Logitech G11/G15 keyboards, I really need to clean out my G15. I would always eat and drink over it in college, and there were times when certain keys would stop working. I cleaned it out with compressed air and that helped considerably, but I really need to take the whole thing apart.

Be careful when you take those keys off and put them back on. I have similar setups on my numpad enter and possibly on the numpad 0 as well. One of the little plastic bits that retains the metal spring broke on the numpad enter so now that key sticks, which sucks because I use it all the time.

Adam, that's my problem. I eat at my desk all the time so it gets pretty rough.

Mine is full of tobacco from rolling my own over the keyboard. And an occasional coffee spill. I just take it apart and wash it in the sink then let it dry over night. I wear off the letters every three months or so, so I buy the cheapest ones I can find. My current one is a $9 job from Big Lots.

You should learn to touch type, or get those stick on letters, something like this.

Plug & Play, if I wanted to be civilized I'd wear pants or something.
