I am running Windows 7, with an HP psc 1350 all in one. Everything was running great for several months.

I refilled the black and white ink cartridge because I ran out of ink - instead of buying a new ink cartridge.

Ever since I refilled the cartridge, it just won't print anymore. The printer has a red light "Check printer". I know the cartridge is seated properly, and I did remove the strip from the contact point.

I am able to photocopy just fine. But if I print a document from word, the printer is unresponsive. I cleared the print spool, restarted the computer, and nothing has worked.

I can photocopy but not print. Am I missing something?

You post is a little unclear mate....are you saying that you were printing fine for months before or after you put on Win7? And was it ever printing okay in win7.

Also its not recommended to refill the cartridges especially in high end multifuctions, you have the latest drivers I take it. Also if the printer was left for a while the heads on the printer can dry up and clog.

Some manufactures design their ink cartridges with chips that tell the computer that they are empty. HP is one of those manufacturers. If you want to refill your own cartridges, you need to buy a little tool that resets the chip somehow. I have also heard that setting the date on your computer back a year will also let you print again. I have a Brother and I think they do the same thing with their cartridges so I always buy refilled and reset cartridges off eBay for pennies on the dollar.

you need to re-install the cartridge for the printer..also before printing re-install the printer driver....after uninstall it from your computer that might be helpful to resolve the issue of printing....
