Hi
I am staying at my cousin's place for the week and he has FIOS which is awesome to experience as I get only 260 kb/sec at my house. The only prob is my laptop (Dell Vostro 1500) with Dell Wireless 1390 card does not seem to cooperate. I can log onto his network and can even log on to his router which is a MI424WR-GEN2 but no website loads. I have never encountered this problem with any other wireless network.
I read some forum posts on here and tried disabling the firewall, tried the winsock reset (netsh winsock reset catalog), restarting the computer, resetting the router, checking the router settings for mac addy issues, etc to no avail. In CMD prompt I can ping google.com and it works fine. I'm running out of ideas and any help would be appreciated. Using Win XP w/ SP3 by the way
