It won't STIMULATE card sales because the cards out today will work fine with DX11 games (especially right away) and most people don't want to shell out $xxx just to play a game (especially these days). Once some good games start to come out and utilize the technology in DX11, we might see a boost.

The one nvidia card I've owned worked alright, but i've always seemed to notice that ati just works better for me.

Ah yea, I just read back on this post. I did mention the quality of graphics on Shift. :)

Seriously amazing performance for a single GPU on early drivers though. Monster of a card.

And look at its power consumption on idle - 27W incredible.

Its got over 2 BILLION transistors. When drivers mature, this thing is going to be a beast.

And the X2 version - thats gonna be mind boggling.
