If anyone can do it. You can do it. It's not as difficult as you might like to think...

Thanks Tommie,

But really, all it takes is a little patience.... one thing for sure, there are alot more ellaborate mods out there than my little mod. :)

I'm just glad to be able to squeeze my mod into my very tightly spaced desktop case.

So now that this mod is completed and the initial goals have been met..... the trick now is it's longevity performance.

Thank you BoT !! yeah... i'm pretty pleased with the out come of this project. Looks, great, outstanding operating temps, easy maintenance and most of all..... silent.

The only thing is..... I cant tell if the pump is operating by visual... ehehehehe since is is silent... and my tank is topped off full.. I'm gonna have to either an an inline flow indicator or just take some fluid out of the tank so as I can see the water flowing/swirling around the tank. I think I'll just do that later since there is no cost to it. heheheh... Or i'll just let it do it normal evaporation process but that's gonna take awhile... lol oh choices...

My system is practically silent after the upgrade and tweaking/optimizing my fans... the only sound I get from it is coming from my psu. it's just a slight whirl from the psu fan......

OH MY FREAKING AYEEEEEE.....

Tonight I decided to tweak the control module setting a smidget cooler (barely a 1mm adjustment) on my Coolit System using the upgraded parts....

Well....

while using Real Temp utility...

before: Idle = 29~30C Load = 33~34C while gaming Halo
after tweak: Idle = 19~20C Load = 25~28C while gaming Halo

Geez.... that's a 10C drop on the idle and 6C drop on the Load.....

I think I need to install one of those flow indicator (spinning propeller) so as I can tell that the fluid is flowing and hence the pump is working. With this pump/res combo being so quiet and the tank is full.... I cant tell if the fluid is flowing.... I am sure it is flowing but would be nice to visually see it... maybe i'll empty out some fluid from the tank so as it not being to full and maybe I can see some fluid motion... hmmm..

Thanks Micro !!

Now I need to keep an eye out on the metal surfaces of my cooling unit for potential condensation if the system reaches below Dew point in my office environment... heheheh....
