Ok, just rebooted my system, and all the fonts have changed?? Wtf!
I've not altered anything. I've never messed about with fonts before. I'm not that
fussy about fonts. So this's kinds stumped me a bit. I've went into Personalise,
Window Appearance, clicked on Classic Appearance, and Advanced, but all I can
change is Message text, etc. Before Reboot of system, my CoreTemp had fonts
of Ariel. Now after the reboot, it has fonts that are bold, italic, and not ariel.
So this's like a desktop font that needs to be changed - am I right?
How would I go about changing this?

For the record, this's been happening a lot recently. Fonts randomly changing.
Mind you, my wife's been on the computer a lot recently, so maybe that's the reason lol.

Thanks in advance for help!

Tam...

In Windows 7
Control pannel > Fonts > Font settings > restore default.
Do you have true type turned on?
Buy your wife her own computer :P

BTW Tam, It's "Arial" ... not "Ariel." Ariel is a mermaid. :P

Finally! I've found a solution. First off, Jules, my Font problem is in Vista, not
Windows7. I did boot up Win7 and it's so much simpler to restore the fonts.
But in Vista, that's another story! You can't do it. Those Win7 simplistic options
are not in Vista. In the Font folder you only have the font.otf files.
One has to refer to CMD prompt to restore fonts. Not good for the average user.
Thanks Microsoft you bastards!

Anyways, I'd been surfing for ages and finally found a site that offers a registry
fix. And it works. So, if any of you lot experience change of Fonts due to unkown
reasons,a nd would liek to change back, then click on this link:

http://chris.pirillo.com/fix-windows-vistas-fonts/

And download the VistaFontFix.reg file, run it, and reboot. That's it.

Can't believe I didn't get any useful responses to this? If you try hard enough,
you will find a solution. And no the font changes were not due to porn surfing LOL

But I would like to know how/why/what changed my fonts without my conscent!!
