hi i have an asus pro31sc laptop (2GHz, 2GB ram) with windows 7 RC installed. I keep getting this bsod mentioning bad pool header whenever i use my usb modem for internet access. I tried the driver verifier and it shows the modem drivers as unsigned but when i try to get them signed and restart they are shown as unsigned again.
Kindly help me out.

Try a program like "driver signature enforcement overrider"

Have you gone to the manufacturers site and tried loading the vista drivers for it. Right now if you don't have a signed driver you can't run it unless you do tweaks or use a program like the one i linked too. It will probably change after the OS is released for real...i hope.
