I tested both RAM, with OCZ score roughly 10% higher than Kingston using Performance Test. Can anyone educate me why lac6 RAM is better than lac 5? Thank you.

Kingston 5-5-5-X

OCZ 5-6-6-X

u - v - w - x

u = CL CAS Latency
v = tRCD RAS to CAS Delay
w = tRP RAS Precharge
x = tRAS cycle time

What is X ? There are 4 timing numbers....

Also, when you were testing them, were both running at the same DRAM Freq ?

The reason the OCZ are running a little quicker is that one of your settings may be more optimal to allow them to be be more efficient than the Kingston.
