I don't know if this should be here or in the Motherboard section.

My son has a PC with a WMCP61M motherboard, AM2 socket and AMD Athlon dual core 4850e processor.

He has asked me if it is possible to upgrade it, the processor rates at 2500 Mhz, can anybody tell me what other processors I could install to achieve this.

As a second question, is there a utility that can be run that will tell you what processors/upgrades you can apply to a PC Motherboard. I was wondering if there is something similar to those you can run to ascertain memory upgrades.
