I have a 9800gt and i am having issues i cant figure out maby someone can help me.

So i play call of duty 2 a semi easy game to run. However even thow i have updated drivers i have to update them every day because if i dont i cant even move in the main screen its so choppy. So after i update the drivers it runs good for about 10 min im getting 225fps constant and im happy however after that 10 min is up the fps drops like ever 5 min. untill it get to 90fps where it seems to hold right there. I cant figure out why it seems like my card is dying

Sounds like its over heating.Check to make sure the fan is working. If it is down load Rivatuner and turn the fan up to 60% or better.

What brand is your card?Evga has Precisison which you can download and use to OC and adjust fan speeds to.

How exactly are you uninstalling the drivers? You can always try to use Driver sweeper which is a tool that deletes any leftovers when you uninstall a driver to make sure it doesn't corrupt the next install.

Follow these steps just in case:

1) uninstall Nvidia display driver
2) Restart
3) Run Driver Sweeper and any other cleaning program while you're at it.
4) install Driver.

Post back if it doesn't work.
