I'd be annoyed, but the first oppourtunity I get to play it will probably be half way through next year anyway.

I like, totally feel for you, dude.

It's only been pushed back because of DX12 and OctoCore implementation,
and the all new HyperPlayer which allows 3 people on a server per map. Amzing!

Lol reminds me of this new Red Faction game that just came out. It was originally supposed to be out in late April. Then it was delayed till may. Then it was delayed till july. Then it was delayed till August and then it was delayed till September.

By the time the game actually came out I didn't really give a damn.

I've heard that modern warfare 2 picks up right where COD:MW left off... I've never played modern warfare but I've heard it was both really good and really short.

I'd like to play through the campaign but I just cant get myself to shell out $40 for a 5 hour game. Hopefully they bundle 1 and 2 together when MW2 comes out.

More like 8 hours, at least. I don't remember 4 or waw being short. I guess I was looking for Intelligence items/cards though.

I guess 8 is a little better but still... the single player campaign should still take a few days to get through.

The mp should keep you busy for a couple months, if you buy it NOW. If you just want SP, then wait until MW2 comes out. CoD4 will drop in price then.

With that said, I just have to say that MW2 is definitely over-hyped. It's basically CoD4 with SLIGHTLY better graphics (watch the newest video on gametrailers), and same overall gameplay and mechanics. If they get rid of constant enemy spawn like they said they would, then the SP should be good.

The MP is revamped. Some features look good, like the redesigned weapons. The new kill/death streaks look lame and will likely result in spam...so much, it's scaring me away. Either way, I'll buy it when it comes out.

thats pretty much all I care about is the SP... MP is cool and all during LAN parties but most of the time with shooters I'd rather just play a campaign.

yeah its kind of rough for us that have jobs and responsibilities to compete with 14 year olds that don't work and can dedicate 5x the time to getting good at games... TBH i think half of them are probably cheating.

I betcha they are not 14yrs old either...LMAO. I remember when I was playing BF2 and in particulary BF2142 on release for 9 hrs a day...and much more the weekend. Man my stats were through the roof...and it felt great being called a HACKER on every server I played....hehe.

But not anymore I am much more relaxed about it now.......terrible how old age and FATHERHOOD ruin your aura of UBER GAMER. Now when I am in the "ZONE" and my little monkey socks asks me for juice....I have to leave DEFCON 5 and get the good dam apple juice!
