Hi , I have a problem > I have a Matsui 22Inch Digital LCD TV with DVD Player . This TV , has , with the addition of a storage facility (Hard Drive or Flash Drive/Memory Stick) a Digital Video Recorder facility . However when I plug in a Flash Drive or Memory Stick I'm getting an error message "DVR Device - Device is not ready" in a blue box .

Im not sure if this is a tv problem, or a sub stick problem.

An idea is if you had your stick set up to be memory in vista, it may have its settings off. You may want to format the usb and put it in blank to see if it is detected.

You may want to look and see if you can update the firmware. Burn it to cd.

A problem i had with my samsung tv is that when i plug the usb into the tv it wouldnt always work. I had to get a usb cable then plug the stick into the cable. Either the usb or the tv had problems with contacting.

I hate to send you elsewhere but here is a great site for tv's though i only found one post on your brand of tv.But they may know more about the question in general.

On a side note.I am fairly certain that you cant transfer info to the usb, or save it to usb while recording. I assume you can only watch divx video from it, or firmware update.
