Hello,
I have a rather odd video problem. I had the Total Security 2009 virus, and was able to get rid of the virus. I ran the Kasperky Anti-Virus boot-up cd, and it got the computer clean enough to be able to run Malwarebyte's Antimalware. Well, after I ran the Kasperky CD, when windows boots up, the video is only in 4-bit. When I start the computer in safe mode, the video is 16-bit. I try to change the video to 16 or 32 bit, but it just doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas?

By the way, this computer is running Windows XP Media Center Edition.

maybe it messed up the video drivers. You can try downloading drivers for whatever it is that you're using to display video.

But honestly, you should take this time to backup every important stuff you need and just do a fresh install. Nothing works better than that.
