Well Ladies(?) and Gentlemen, post what gear you have and what you play as well as anything you have made :D

Gear:
E-MU 0202 Interface- I need a new interface because this wont record at anything more than like 9db so I cant get an even remotely full sound when recording

Shure SM57 Mic- Standard "good" dynamic mic

Jackson Kelly KE3- Great guitar, my favorite looking guitar of all time so naturally i was wicked excited when I got it. Replaced the standard Jackson Seymour Duncan JB/59 setup with a Dimarzio Evolution in the Neck and Dimarzio X2N in the bridge which I like a whole lot more. Was going to put on an Orignal Floyd Rose to replace the Jackson one but that was put on hold and I don't know when I will do that again. Have Not Even Slinky guitar strings on it.

Dean Vendetta- My "first" guitar (I don't count my crappy strat replica), kind of a piece of crap but for $99 it couldn't be beat. Changed out pickups for Seymour Duncan Distortions, have some retardedly high guage strings on it, I forget the exact size but I bought a 7 string set and just took off the thinnest guage string so it's like 58-14.

Squire Strat-style 4-string Bass- Just got it to fool around with, can get some decent heavy bass sound from it with the Line 6 Uber Metal, but I think I need some new pickups and thicker gauged strings.

Line 6 Uber Metal Pedal- Fantastic Pedal, has 3 stages of distortion, a 2 stage noise gate, and your standard EQ knobs but with a Scoop knob (which I don't use, scooped mids suck). Well worth the money for it.

Bad Monkey Overdrive Pedal- It was like $30 and one of the best buys for overdrive pedals, nothing spectacular but you shouldn't be expecting much for the price. Can't beat it at $30.

Peavey Valveking 112- Forgot to add my amp, standard 50w Tube combo. Has 6L6GC tubes which I don't really like but the price was right, I think I migth get one of the new Peavey 6505+ 112s that come out soon, a lot more gain on tap than this amp. Also I replaced the stock crap speaker with a Warehouse Speaker Vintage 30 (Celestion V30 copycat but just as good).

Gakken SX-150- Analog Synthesizer for $50, sure it's not that good but I mean 100% pure analog for $50 is not a bad buy at all considering most analog synths are over $1000 (but they are about 100 times better lol). Fun to dick around with.

Cables:
Dimarzio 1/4" Cables
Mogami Gold Quad Studio XLR cable

Programs:
Sony Soundforge 9.0
Sony Acid 6 Pro
FL Studio XXL 8
Addictive Drums
Countless other VST/VSTis

Music:
What ever I want but generally;
Goregrind
Grindcore
Noise
Hardcore (Techno)
Ambient
Drum n Bass

Songs:
Some DnB I made:

Semi-Hardcore(techno) Song

And this song I made just as a joke, has no rythm or any musical value to it at all:

Well post up :D

Sean I didn't know you played guitar! Any favorite band you like to jam to? OR any particular solos you like? Some Vinnie Moore perhaps? ;)

Never played a guitar in my life! Don't like them to be honest. But I love the Bass Guitar.
Just love that sound. I've played the drums in my younger days. I was drum mad! Tapping
my hands/fingers/feet at everything! I couldn't sit still.

I've no musical instruments. Just what I have on my computer, as I love synth/electronica.

The software I have are:

Reason 4.0 (Music Production & Samples)
Ableton Suite 8 (Using for mainly Mixes)
Fruity Loops
Traktor

I don't really like to copy music but from time to time I'll try and learn some riffs I really like. The intro riff from Impetigo- I Work for the Street Cleaner is one of my all time favorites, Cannibal Corpse- The Bleeding has some great riffs in it, and finally Genghis Tron- Arms has some of the greatest tapping riffs I've heard but my hands aren't big enough to reach them :(

As for Solos I really like any solo that the musician Maniac Niel (Blood Freak, Lord Gore, Frightmare) does he's an amazing guitarist.

Also I added my Amp and Bass because I completely forgot about those two.

Guitars:
Jackson KE2 Kelly
Jackson DK2T Dinky

Guitar Amps:
Behringer GMX1200H Head
Behringer BG412H Cab (4X12)

Bass:
Squier Jazz Bass (5 String Affinity)

Bass Amp:
Peavey Max 115

I played guitar for around 8 years, but never found it appealing enough to practice a lot....so I play like the average 3 year rhythm musician, I guess. Moved over to bass, and prefer it much over guitar. I just got the bass gear around a couple months ago, and I want to upgrade to something better. I tried a couple out, but MusicMan, as always took the cake, with the Sterling 5. Too bad they cost $1500 or more. However, I think I'll try out a Sterling By Musicman bass. The Ray 35 looks pretty nice.

Not sure about the amp yet.

I'll get a demo uploaded sometime.

Just to mention, my dad has a lot of gear as well. Ovation electric, early 80's Gibson Les Paul, and a couple Epiphones....to name a few.

A Yamaha stand up piano of which the model I have long forgotten - the piano has to be older than I am.

A no name guitar and an amp combination I picked up for $40 in total. Nothing special, but it has a nice blues and jazz sound to it.

A tenor saxophone I rented from Yamaha, which ended up sucking, and then I switched to a company whose name suddenly escapes me.

And, because I was bored one night, I basically re-did Apologize by OneRepublic from the ground up with some freeware garbage software.

It isn't the greatest, but I like the piano vocals I put in.

This is the first take with no edits. Recorded with GR3 (crappy sounding bass preset). There's quite a few screw-ups, but I've only been playing bass for roughly 2 months...so I guess that's a good excuse. ;)

http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g126/JACKS0NESP/?action=view...uscany.flv

The unison section at the end is the hardest part of the song....otherwise, playing triplets (I don't have a good 3rd finger, yet).

Thanks man. I wish I had some money, but being a student, I've got a limited resource pool. I definitely had fun making it.
