Hi

I've recently bought a Toshiba NB200 and would like to install Win 7.. It currently has XP on it with the HD having 2 partitions. I tried making a USB stick boot into dos (which it does) but I don't have access to the HD.

The only way I see to do it would be to format the second partition in XP and then install Windows 7 (on a USB stick) I have already got as far as it asking if I really want to replace windows.. Will it give me the option to format the HD first or does it simply install over the top?

I really want a clean HD first but don't know how to do it, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jon

Thank yoooooo :) It's wiping data now.. Though I hope it clears unallocated space as well... I had three partitions it turns out.. One called XP (C: obviously) a data one and a recovery partition. I deleted the 2 etra partitions in XP which made one block of unallocated space.. Fingers crossed that killdisk makes it all into one again.
